Derek DavidSUDLOWPassed away on Monday the 24th of November, in Southport Hospital, aged 93 years.

Derek led a full life with many achievements including 3 different careers, a time served Joiner, a Draughtsman and a fully qualified Chartered Civil Engineer and studied and gained a first class Honours Degree in Geology in his seventies.

He leaves behind his loving wife Margie and his four sons, Stephen, Mark, Keith and Derek Jnr and dearly departed daughter Jackie. He also had 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and so many friends from all over the country, who will miss him dearly. He was a real 'people' person, he particularly liked talking to young people. He encouraged them to have ambitions and goals, to live life to the full, passing on his wealth of experience where he could to help them.

His Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday 11th December at Our Lady of Compassion Church, School Lane, Formby, L37 3LN at 10.00am. Followed by a service at Southport Crematorium, 159 Scarisbrick Road, Southport, at 11.00am.

There will be a gathering and celebration of his life from 12.00 onwards at the Formby Club, Three Tuns Lane, Formby, L37 4AQ.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Medecins Sans Frontieres at the service.
